Privacy Policy

Effective: August 2026

This policy describes how DrCarePro collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our platform or contact us. We process data only to deliver our services and meet our legal obligations — nothing more.

Information we collect

Enquiry data. When you submit a contact or demo request form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and organisation name.

Platform data. Authorised hospital staff enter patient records, clinical notes, prescriptions, billing information, and related data in the course of their operations. We store this data solely to provide the DrCarePro service.

How we use your information

  • To respond to demo requests and support enquiries
  • To deliver, maintain, and improve the DrCarePro platform
  • To send transactional notifications on behalf of your organisation
  • To comply with applicable legal obligations

Data security

  • All data transmitted over TLS 1.2 or higher
  • Passwords stored using one-way cryptographic hashing
  • Role-based access controls across all application modules
  • Automated backups with point-in-time recovery

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. Information is shared only with sub-processors engaged to operate the platform (cloud hosting and email delivery providers), each bound by appropriate data processing agreements. Disclosure to law enforcement occurs only in response to a lawful order under applicable Indian law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Hospital administrators may manage staff and patient data directly within the platform. To exercise any right, contact us at support@drcarepro.net. We respond within 2 business days.

Cookies and tracking

We use only essential session cookies required to operate the platform. We do not deploy third-party advertising or behavioural tracking technologies.

Data retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 2 years. Platform data is retained for the duration of the subscription and for 90 days following termination to facilitate export. Medical records may be subject to additional retention obligations under applicable Indian healthcare regulations.
